Interbank Football Tournament : CAA's memorable double

Launched on 21 avril 2023, the 2nd edition of the interbank football tournament ended on 29 of the same month. Like the first edition, it is the team of the Autonomous Sinking Fund and (CAA) who won the giant trophy. And final, trainer's foals, Soulé Djissa dominated their opponents from head to toe.

12 teams led this 2nd edition, but on arrival it is that of the CAA which wins it, without shaking, 4-1. This initiative of the Federation of Workers' Unions of Banks and Financial Institutions of Benin (Festrabank) allows workers to get out of the four corners of their desks and daily paperwork. “Dans le but de maintenir le brassage au sein du secteur bancaire, festrabank initiated this tournament. Appreciated by all, cette édition a transformé les limites de la 1ère en force en opportunités” s’est réjoui Eraste Agossou, Secretary General of Festrabank. The vice-president of the Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Benin praised the team spirit that prevailed throughout the competition. “Le foot est un facteur de rassemblement, cohesion. It is above all a team spirit. C’est ce qu’on recherche dans nos institutions” a renchéri Sadio Cissé.

Laurels for DG Lokossou

To Caesar what is Caesar's, I am the DG of the CAA, the merit due to him. It is only natural that he should be proud to adorn himself with the laurels of victory in order to share them with these foals who knew how to meet expectations by lifting the trophy at stake for the 2nd consecutive edition.. If they could have been at this level, it is thanks to the insight of the management of this director, ambitious and determined. Comme il est dit “Une mission, des hommes et des moyens”, the CAA under the enlightened leadership of its DG Hugues Oscar Lokossou has played its role.

What two coach Djissa?

If Festrabank through all its structures has recognized the CAA as the best banking structure in terms of sport and in this case the practice of football, the coach has a lot. From selection to managing match pressure, Soulé Djissa remained in control of his team and his element all along the line. With a high tactical sense and his good reading of the game like breed trainers, the coach Djissa knew how to communicate his rigor and his method of operation to maintain the CAA at the top of the hierarchy of football in the banking sector in Benin.
