Pre-season preparatory course: Aspac Football Club was in Parakou

With a delegation of 40 people (bureau, commission technique, athletes), it's during 10 days (18 1u 27 October 2021) that the players have daily combined training, friendly matches and a full day of rest in the city of Kobourou. Goal, prepare well for the football season 2021-2022.

Through this greening, following a well-developed program by the technical staff under the supervision of the Sporting Director, Serge Lamaré Mongbet, the players were subjected to a sustained pace of work. Beyond the days before or after matches, two daily training sessions were organized. Sessions during which, different technical and tactical levels have been worked on to sharpen the individual and collective qualities of the team for the upcoming championship.

Matches Tests

Of the three planned test matches, two have been delivered. The Ox in the last instance canceled the showdown scheduled for 21 last october. However, Aspac met on Sunday 24 October Union Sportive Baboni (USB) and the 26 October Dynamo de Parakou. Against the promoted USB, Aspac won 2-1 thanks to a header from Balla Allabani (35′) and a penalty, Rabiou Sankamao's last minute (90+1). From the resumption, the USB equalized on a header from Fadil Issifou (49′). For the second match, the blank score of 0-0 separated Aspac and Dynamo despite numerous scoring chances for the port club.

Technical and motivational analysis sessions also stimulated the actors on the expectations of the prospects for a professional football career.. The Sporting Director notably developed the concept of “4D” (Discipline DETERMINATION, DISTINCTION, DIFFERENCE) and its importance. otherwise, Coaches Touré and Kassa emphasized the mastery of playing systems. As well, goalkeeper coach Imorou insisted on the responsibility and capital role of goalkeepers. Apart from technical benchmarks, a sightseeing visit was scheduled for Friday 21 but a torrential rain canceled it out. However, the post-game evening of 26 October was used for a walk through the city of Kobourous.

Finding the right reflex

The objective of the technical staff is to condition the players for optimal preparation for the championship : "Coming to Parakou, the idea is to work on concentration "said coach Malick Touré. According to him, the objective is visibly achieved. He is delighted to have found this concentration in the North. For its part, the Sports Director, Serge Lamaré Mongbet, adds that the southern club has come to discover another football : "Despite the cancellation of the game against the Ox, we were able to face USB (2-1) and Dynamo of Parakou (0-0). These results are acceptable given the relatively favorable scores. This ten-day internship allowed us to better prepare for the Pro league 2021- 2022 ». For the Touré coach, the internship went well. He noted in particular progress on the technical aspect : "We have gained on the cohesion in the game and return to Cotonou with the certainty of drawing a lot of positive points from it.. We are all ready for the championship ”assured Malick Bio Touré.

While waiting for his entry into the running, we can already say that Aspac Football Club is ready for the season 2021-2022.
