RENEWPAC Summit 2023 : End clap

The RENEWPAC summit 2023 ended this Tuesday 5 December in Dakar in the Senegalese capital. This initiative from the Renew Europe group in the European Parliament, kept its bet to promote sustainable development between Europe and Africa.

Organized in collaboration with renowned liberal institutions such as the Liberal International, the African Liberal Network, la Fondation Friedrich Naumann, l'ADLE, the PDE, the Renewal Europe Group of the European Committee of the Regions and the European Liberal Forum, RENEWPAC summit benefits from international support.

Indeed, Renew Europe, is a pro-European and centrist political group in the European Parliament, with 101 members elected in 24 Member States of the European Union which asserts itself as the third largest political group. Focused on promoting democracy, defending the rule of law and human rights, Renew Europe works for a prosperous Europe and a sustainable continent for future generations. The RENEWPAC summit 2023 has the mission to bring together the liberal leaders of Europe and Africa.

With a focus on the complex priorities facing both continents, summit seeks to encourage dynamic dialogue on sustainable development. Which gave rise to numerous relevant resolutions for the good of both continents. So after Marrakech and Dakar, it will be Abidjan (Ivory Coast) to host the next RENEWPAC meeting.

“It is important to have sociologically neutral armies, socially and representative of all ethnic groups. I'm Senegal, all ethnicities are represented in the armies at all levels. In west Africa, even countries that have not suffered a coup d'état suffer the consequences, particularly on the economic level, with the sanctions imposed by ECOWAS on the countries affected by the putsches.. Because there is economic interdependence between all these countries”
