Luc Atrokpo greets, by videoconference, Friday 28 January 2022, at an extraordinary summit of the Conference attended by, President of the Republic of Benin Patrice Talon. On the menu of exchanges, the political situation in Burkina Faso with the ousting of President Marc Rock Christian Kabore.
Update given to the press by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Aurélien Agbénonci, it appears that the Heads of State adopted several decisions with a view to a return to constitutional order in the country of upright men. The other important point of this extraordinary meeting, highlights the government site, is the revision of the additional protocol of the sub-regional organization on democracy and good governance. According to Minister Aurélien Agbénonci, President Patrice TALON and several of his counterparts obtained the revision of this protocol to strengthen it. A committee is therefore working for this purpose..
