The 3 last august, Ousmane Sonko was removed from the lists of his commune after being sentenced in absentia to two years in prison for “corruption of youth”.

The judges of this jurisdiction, seized of an appeal for annulment by defense lawyers, are invited to overturn or confirm the decision of the authorities “aimed at excluding him from the presidential race of 2024 ». By the court decision, at the end of the hearing, Ousmane Sonko will be informed on his participation or not in the next electoral contest.
