During these days, it was about the challenges to be taken up so that the producers of Savalou live with dignity from their work but also from the structuring of their sector in order to assess their difficulties. An opportunity for the Agriculture Commission, breeding and fishing of the Adcs led by Professor Jacques Tossou Dougnon to learn more about the cultures of the city of Soha, to identify the problems and discuss them with the actors on the lack of technical support for an optimal use of inputs and lack of training on conservation and storage techniques.
In his closing message, Adcs chairman Conrad Gbaguidi has hinted that the goal is to make Savalou, a real pole of agricultural development so that each Savaloise can live with dignity and proudly from their work. For him, these days allowed Adcs to take stock in collaboration with all the players in each sector. Faced with the actors of the said sectors (Soy, But, rice and cassava) after a visit to the field of the “Nouwagnon” cooperative of Hyacinthe Ahoga, Minister Gaston Dossouhoui explained the large investments made to modernize agricultural crops and create jobs in rural areas. To believe it, the new reform of the Beninese agricultural sector aims to develop the sectors, increase productivity and improve producers' incomes. Note that Adcs intends to play a federating role not only in agriculture but also in other development sectors such as tourism and crafts..
