The city of Dakhla, in Morocco, will be 4 at 6 next december, the host of Seafood 4 Africa 2024, the international forum dedicated to sustainable fisheries cooperation and the blue economy. Organized by the National Federation of Fishing Products Processing and Valorization Industries (Phenip), the event is part of the strategic orientations of His Majesty King Mohammed VI for balanced development, combining economic progress and respect for the environment.

This major forum, designed in collaboration with several Moroccan ministries, will bring together more than 70 exhibitors, 30 speakers and 3 000 participants from Africa and beyond. Experts, policy makers, representatives of international organizations and professionals from the sector will discuss the challenges and opportunities of fisheries and aquaculture in Africa.

The event offers a rich program : scientific conferences, B2B meetings and exhibitions dedicated to the value chain of fisheries and aquaculture products. These activities aim to promote exchanges, encourage collaborations and promote innovations and good practices in the sector. Among the main objectives of Seafood 4 Africa 2024 figure economic growth, the development of intra-African trade, improving social conditions and sustainable management of marine resources.
