Dramane Ouolou, mayor of the city of Ouaké does not want to hear about the marketing or consumption of adulterated alcohol in his municipality. This is why he decided to go to war against recalcitrant sellers.
The 1st day of the first leg is fixed from 15 January 2022, by making an unannounced raid with the help of the Republican Police in the districts namely, Ouch, Badjoudè et Tchalinga, the first authority of the commune of Ouaké was able to see firsthand the places used for the production of these adulterated drinks. This descent, according to the duck of the north Daabaaru allowed Dramane Ouolou and his collaborators to discover several cans and drums of a large capacity containing the suspicious liquid hidden in the antechamber of the buildings serving as a place of sale. A discovery which forced the municipal authority to ask questions to the owners of establishments about the origin of these suspicious products treated as alcohol. According to site managers, these drinks would be made from palm wine. However, the devices and manufacturing conditions prove quite the opposite. The mayor then advised actors against such practices, before giving categorical instructions so that these store managers can keep these liquids harmless.
However, Dramane Ouolou does not think he will stop there. He intends to continue his investigations in order to unmask other points of sale as part of a crackdown campaign against the sale and consumption of adulterated alcohol in Ouaké.
