Beninese network of public procurement specialists: Felix Adahe Vigbe, Elective GA of the Indomitable Boxing Club

In compliance with the texts of its association, the Beninese Network of Public Procurement Specialists (RebeScoP) renewed its board of directors, Friday 22 July 2022. The elective general assembly was held at Chant d’oiseau in Cotonou. At the end of a free and transparent election, the Efficiency list led by Félix Dieudonné Adahé Vigbé received the perfect consent of voters.

The elective general assembly of the Beninese Network of Public Procurement Specialists is marked by the accession of new members, the balance sheets, moral and financial followed by discussions on the different activities carried out during the two years. After, This was followed by the election of the new Rebescop office.. Previously Senior Vice President of the network, Félix Dieudonné Adahé Vigbé rises in rank in the association. He is elected president at the end of the vote and replaces Florent Hounyo. The latter, after putting the network on track, decided to serve the corporation of public procurement professionals in a different way., after two years at the head of ReBesCop. Léonard Comlan Adjovi also moves up a new level and becomes first vice-president. Augustin Sourou Dohou is elected General Treasurer. We note the entries of Salifou Kpéra Zimé to the position of legal and social affairs officer and that of Jeannette Ahehehinnou to communications in this new office. 11 members. The new team is committed to continuing to work for the network’s influence. “Nous allons continuer à écrire notre belle histoire” avait souhaité le président sortant dès l’entame des travaux, the new one is resolutely part of the same dynamic.

It should be remembered that in two years, the Beninese Network which counted 42 people at its creation has grown to more than a hundred members. “During the Assembly, the permanent secretary of the public procurement regulatory authority” underlined the importance of ReBesCop. But above all he said the expectations of the authority towards : “A permanent commitment to a valuable heritage that we will leave to future generations”. He invited the network to remain professional in order to contribute to transparency in all public procurement processes in the Republic of Benin.

The ReBesCoP in a few words

Created the 24 July 2022, ReBeScoP is an association governed by the law of July 1st 1901 and the decree of 16 August 1901. Its aim is to contribute to the development and performance of the public procurement sector in the Republic of Benin., thanks in particular to active cooperation between its members. As such, ReBeSCoP has given itself a mission broken down into several points : Promote exchanges of experiences and practices in public procurement between its members, maintain contact between its members by making information available to them, advice, documentation established as necessary with skills. It also intends to work to strengthen the capacities of active members; contribute to respecting ethics and professional conduct in matters of public procurement or work for the promotion of its members. Promoting partnerships with other networks and institutions/structures involved in the field of public procurement is also part of its mission..
