According to the words of Minister Aurélien Agbénonci, the meeting clarified their perception of the Government's strategic choices. For the Minister, Benin has opted in recent years for a reorientation of its diplomacy by choosing to conduct diplomatic action through new modes of representation. He explains, for this purpose, that the option was made to create a level of non-resident ambassadors in the department and regional poles on the five continents which has been undertaken by Benin since August 1 2020.
