Meeting of the African Hiking Confederation: Benin is hosting the event

Benin will host from 1 to 5 September 2021, the meeting of the western zone of the African Hiking Confederation (Carp) on the theme "Hiking in the service of development". In this context, the president of the carp, Marie Laure has been staying in Benin since Monday 5 July 2021. She was greeted at the Bernardin Gantin airport in Cotonou by the Beninese Sports Federation for All (Fbst) headed by President Soufiyano Imorou.

Founding member of the Carp, Benin will have the honor to welcome its counterparts from the sub-region around subjects of common interest in order to boost the development of hiking in all areas, encourage vice-presidents and local federations, and equip them with the organization of competitions. From his descent in Cotonou, President Marie-Laure Essan thanked the Fbst for the warm welcome given to her.
