Obtaining the IFU for churches, Ong, political parties : A new procedure comes into force

The Directorate General of Taxes has announced a change in obtaining the unique tax identifier (THE CLOUD) entities other than commercial companies.

The General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) announced the establishment of a new, entirely dematerialized procedure for requests for registration with the Single Tax Identifier (THE CLOUD) entities other than commercial companies.

In a press release dated Wednesday 7 August 2024, the DGI learns that this new procedure will take effect on Monday 12 August 2024. It concerns, among other entities, national or foreign non-governmental organizations, associations, religious organizations, foundations, development projects, professional unions, political parties, state agencies and organizations, private and public educational establishments.

“This innovation considerably simplifies administrative procedures and allows beneficiary entities to save time”, supports the DGI through its press release. To obtain your IFU, the entity manager no longer needs to travel. “Just go to the address “ifu.impots.bj”, to select the menu “Request IFU”, then “IFU for entities other than commercial companies” », informs the press release.
