The former president of the Constitutional Court fulminates against the idea of ​​​​all-out revision of the Constitution of Benin. Robert Dossou says he does not understand what justifies a new attempt to modify the fundamental law, only four years after the first under the break-up regime. Regarding the rereading proposal made by the Republican Bloc MP (BR), presidential movement party, Assan Seibou, the former president of the Constitutional Court wants to be clear : “There’s nothing important in it., Nothing at all. I read and reread,” says Master Robert Dossou indignantly. According to him, the small corrections proposed by MP BR are not significant. " There is no problem. I say none, no problem that requires modification” he insists. Which leads him to conclude “We want to legalize the shift from presidential to presidentialist.
