Malaise within the MOELE-Benin: Jacques Ayadji comes out of his silence

Faced with the latest events which have shaken the Movement of Elites Committed to the Emancipation of Benin party (the LNA party benefited from the support of the political parties of the presidential movement, in particular the Union ¨Progressiste), its president Jacques Ayadji tried to reassure supporters, activists and observers.

Jacques Ayadji in a correspondence dated 07 July 2021 felt that no initiative could shake them. " Nothing, nor will anyone come to distract MOELE-Benin…”, said the first representative of the party. According to rumors and suspicions, MOELE-Benin would be prone to deep unease. A malaise which would be the consequence of the last recorded departures. It is nothing to estimate Jacques Ayadji. The party must adapt to change, grow and take off again. « An internal, my message to the activists invited calm and serenity because crises of maturity and growth are part of life and crises of confidence are inherent to any social organization, man being of essence, a being capable of mutations and reversals according to his interests” he declared.

The former trade unionist is in no way moved by the things that would be said about him and the party. His serenity according to his words remains intact. “The slander, the lies and other untruths distilled here and there can in no way blunt my determination, in my capacity as the first party leader to lead the MOELE-Benin boat with respect for each other, but above all in transparency and the firm desire to act to achieve the objectives that we have freely set for ourselves”

Management remains the same

“Our loyal presence at his side has no other purpose than to contribute to establishing a new vision of politics in Benin, that which consists of maintaining any building built at the cost of great sacrifices…” argued Jacques Ayadji. Words from the president of the Movement of Elites Committed to the Emancipation of Benin which reaffirm their commitment and unwavering support for the actions of the Head of State in his policy of governance and development of Benin.

Remember that through a decision published on Sunday 13 June 2021, Jacques Ayadji suspended Céphise Béo Aguiar and Edmond Ayindé, two executives from MOELE-Benin. They are accused of serious misconduct linked to the appointment by presidential decree of Bienvenu Dêdêgnon Milohin, member of the party as Prefect of Mono. A decision which sparked strong reactions and later led to the resignation of Gbètoho Albert Boco, the National Secretary for Legal and Legislative Affairs of the party.
