Magistrate David Anani on the National Dispute Resolution Chamber : “The UNFPB must be involved…”

The establishment of the National Dispute Resolution Chamber (CNRL is crucial for the sustainable development of Beninese football. Reason why, in an interview given to the national press, the magistrate, David Anani agrees with the National Union of Professional Footballers of Benin (UNFPB) to judge the importance of this structure which will play a central role in the fair and rapid resolution of disputes between players, clubs and other players in Beninese football.

According to Magistrate Anani,  the dispute resolution chamber will be of capital value in the context of Beninese football because it will allow conflicts and disputes that may arise between the different football players to be resolved in an efficient and equitable manner., whether it is the clubs, the players, coaches or officials. “Its creation will allow the Beninese Football Federation to strengthen transparency and good governance in the management of disputes between players and clubs.. This will also contribute to strengthening the credibility of the Federation and promoting a healthy and equitable environment for all stakeholders in Beninese football., says David Anani.

To believe it, the management body of Beninese king sport must be proactive, she must comply with FIFA requirements: “It is important that the Federation collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the CNRL. Because inevitably the CNRL will offer a fair and equitable avenue of appeal to the players since they will be represented in its composition. This would build confidence in the system and ensure that disputes are handled impartially and transparently”.

He also explains that it is essential that the procedures for nomination and selection of members of the CNRL are transparent and based on objective criteria to ensure this parity.. “We have the UNFPB in Benin, which is affiliated to the international union. It is a legitimate body to represent players in the CNRL. In addition, representatives of Beninese footballers (UNFPB) must take a particularly critical look at the player transfer system and must campaign for the establishment of a standard national player contract. Better the UNFPB since it is what it is about must be involved in the development of the calendar of championship matches. There is no football without footballers and for that reason they must be considered at their true values”, clarifies Magistrate David Anani.

otherwise, he underlines that if this Chamber sees the light of day that it would be to the credit of the President of the Beninese Football Federation who is also a member of the FIFA executive board. Because it will help improve the reputation of Beninese football on the international scene and demonstrate Benin’s commitment to promoting good governance and fair dispute resolution practices.. “This would strengthen the confidence of international partners in Beninese football”, he affirms while adding that in normal times, “this subject must be included on the agenda of the general meeting of 20 next july. Delegates must discuss the implementation of this very important legal tool before the start of the next championship. Afterwards, actions must be taken such as the appointment of members of the CNRL, the development of transparent regulations and procedures for the operation of the chamber, as well as raising awareness and training of football stakeholders on the CNRL and its advantages”.
