Official launch of the departmental phases of the inter-municipal championships : It's this Saturday 12 October

After the organization of the Inter-district championships of 03 at 18 August 20024, the Ministry of Sports through the PPDAS program officially launches this Saturday 12 October 2024, the departmental phases of the inter-municipal championships which will end on 27 next october. A final opportunity for school and non-school young people under 15 years of defending the colors of their municipality in the disciplines namely Athletics, Basketball, Football, Handball et volleyball.

Final straight line towards the implementation of departmental selections. Indeed, in its grassroots sports development policy, the Minister of Sports Benoît Dato, through the Program for the Promotion and Development of Sports Activities, is increasing his efforts.

Reason why, it organizes these departmental phases of inter-municipal championships in five major disciplines whose objective is to promote sport at the grassroots, detect young talents, promote the development and contribute to the development of young people through sport.

It is an opportunity not only for the detection commissions to confirm the pre-selected talents still in competition but also for the young students in the group to gauge their form at the start of the school year before the resumption of the school championship..
