Ambassador Marc Vizy received by Minister Alain Orounla: Several government projects on the menu

The Minister of Communication and Post, Alain Sourou Orounla received, Friday 30 October 2020 to his Cabinet, the French Ambassador to Benin Marc Vizy. This, within the framework of bilateral cooperation between Benin and France. During this meeting, cooperation projects between Benin and France in terms of Media were on the menu of discussions.

Appointed since 10 September 2020, the French Ambassador to Benin Marc Vizy continues his series of contacts with the sector ministries of Benin. The last of his journey is his trip to the office of the Minister of Communication and Post, Alain Sourou Orounla. A meeting that is intended to be the opportunity for the new ambassador to strengthen through several cooperation projects between Benin and France in terms of Media. It also presents itself as the right moment to address the various issues related to the transparent and inclusive organization of the presidential election of 2021. According to the French diplomat, the discussions revolved around the role of the government spokesperson.

To believe it, the government spokesperson is the most authorized voice to talk about government projects, especially as there are many in Benin. "We reviewed all of the government's projects and the possibilities of partnership with France, my country", he confided. Regarding matters related to cooperation in the field of communication, Ambassador Marc Vizy wished the Minister to express any concerns. "There is cooperation between France and Benin in terms of communication because France has partnerships in the field of training, for example for journalists", Ambassador Marc Vizy said.

"Mr. Ambassador goes through the portal of the Ministry of Communication to say to what extent cooperation between our two states will be strengthened", says Alain Sourou Orounla, Minister of Communication and Post. According to his words, the discussions focused on the observations that foreign countries in general may have with regard to Beninese democracy, the merits of which are hailed.
