The Court declares the new electoral code in all its provisions to be consistent with the Constitution

In his report the president of the court, rapporteur in the case directs the constitutional court towards a validation of the electoral code modified on the night of 05 at 06 mars 2024.

Rapporteur Dorothée Sossa proposes to the court to declare the new electoral code compliant with the constitution. This electoral law strengthens the partisan system according to the rapporteur.

The court in its deliberations therefore declared in conformity with the Consultation, the new electoral code passed on 5 last March by the parliament
