As part of the execution of its program of activities, the Junior Chamber International (JCI) Cotonou Espoir places its mandate on the realization of socio-community projects. And its first activity concerns the Health Plus project which is in its third edition.. The students of the Epp Adogléta are therefore in the spotlight of the 08 at 12 February 2021 dans l’enceinte de l’école.
The President of JCI Cotonou Espoir, Roland Raoul Dagoli on taking office placed his mandate under the sign of "United to Act". He had hinted that his ambition is to make JCI Cotonou Espoir, a stronger organization in JCI and in the community through the quality of its members. Already, the JCI Cotonou espoir announces the color through the effective holding of the 3rd edition of the Health Plus Project.
Carry out a survey on oral health within the School ; educate children about the various oral diseases to which they are exposed ; informer, educate and communicate good toothbrushing habits to students ; make parents aware of their role in good oral hygiene for children. These are the objectives of the Santé Plus project to improve the oral health of students at the public primary school of Adogléta in the 3rd district of Cotonou..
For the Director of the Health Plus Project, editing 2021, the problem identified is that most of the pupils have decayed teeth. To believe it, it will be question during these days, raising awareness on oral hygiene, consultation of children more descaling, then the delivery of kits. At the end of the execution of this project, children will observe many changes. Among others, improving their knowledge of oral diseases, the perfect mastery of the process to brush the teeth well and children suffering from cavities will be detected and taken care of. Likewise, children will know the rules to follow so as not to have decayed teeth and parents of students will be well informed to accompany and monitor their children with regard to oral hygiene.
Remember that this activity is in line with the objectives for sustainable development (Odd 3) which states “Good health and well-being”
