Identification of persons : Consular missions accredited to Benin impregnated

The National Agency for the Identification of Persons (Anip) initiated, Thursday 17 June 2021, in a local hotel in Cotonou, an impregnation workshop at accredited consular missions in Benin on the documents issued by Anip. Opportunity for the latter to learn about the work that the structure is doing.

Identification product promotion meeting underway in the Republic of Benin. Such is the merit of this workshop with the consular and diplomatic missions accredited in the Republic of Benin. Opportunity for the Mandatory Manager of Anip, Cyrille Gougbédji to respectively present to the participants, the agency in charge of the identification of people in Benin and the results since the implementation of this reform which aims to provide each citizen with secure documents. Afterwards, the representatives of the consular missions were treated to a series of screenings which presented the specificities of each of the documents, codes that reassure you of their security, the means to decipher them to stop against possible frauds. The general debate which brought consular missions and ANIP officials face to face was filled with questions to which, the technicians in charge of identifying people in Benin have provided answers, precise gov.bj.

Note that consular and diplomatic missions, at the end of the workshop, will be equipped by the API to properly identify all the acts presented by the Beninese in their files. It was therefore important to bring together these accredited consular missions to present to them in the smallest detail, the new documents issued by Benin.
