The Patriotic Front in opposition to the war against the people of Niger. This is the name of the new grouping of a significant number of political parties, civil society organizations and personalities opposing the use of force against the Nigerien people and opposing FrançAfrique, and its corollaries. Placed on the baptismal font, the Front held a first activity on Friday, 22 September 2023, at the Labor Exchange, revealing its objectives.

Born Thursday, 14 September 2023, the Patriotic Front (FP) against war, for peace, Security, democracy and against hunger is a melting pot that brings together all political parties of various persuasions, youth organizations, of women, trade unions, religious denominations that adhere to a specific goal at a given time. Its objectives are among others, oppose by all means the war of aggression against the brother people of Niger, fight against the installation of foreign military bases, particularly French, in our country and in Africa, fight for peace, security and democracy in our country, fight against hunger, deprivation of freedoms. “The Front is open to all those who are not yet ready or who do not yet correctly understand, the importance of the turning point. The Patriotic Front does not prevent member organizations from pursuing their activities independently, provided that they are not contrary to its objectives”, said coordinator Laurent Mètongnon.

For the forehead, urgent tasks include the establishment of Patriotic Front committees in all municipalities, the districts and 5 295 villages of Benin, against the war in Niger and against French imperialism, put in ministries and production units, the steps, committees for the same objective, demand President Talon to withdraw from this imperialist war that his people reject, demand the opening of borders Benin – Niger which is vital for our economy and constantly reminds the people and particularly the youth to stay awake and up. «Car, the future of the whole of Africa is currently being played out in Niger, in Mali and Burkina Faso”, he confided.
