FIBA Africa Zone 3 revitalized its special bodies with the appointment of certain field players. In the new office of five members are two young Beninese. They are Olawale Kangan and Ahmed Taofik, promoted.
In his vision of making the Zone 3 FIBA Africa, the spearhead of basketball in the sub-region, Colonel Samuel Ahmedu never stops innovating. After creating the Special Projects Council, he has just expanded the organ to give it the momentum it needs to better organize the ball in the basket. So, the zone president has appointed Ghanaian Ato Van chairman of the Special Projects Board to oversee projects in the zone. Beninese Ahmed Taofik takes over as vice-president of the council.
They will be supported in this mission by three other members. These are the Beninese Olawale Kangan and the Nigerians Philip Braide and Abba Kaka. Moreover, Hanson Onuche Oguche, CEO of American-Nigerian Innovative and Founder of Crown Elite Sports, was appointed to the Development Council.
