As a prelude to the start of the sports season 2020 – 2021, the Nigerien Football Federation through the Central Commission of Referees organized training for sports journalists. It took place on Saturday 26 September 2020 at the institution's headquarters. The goal, allow participants to learn about the changes to the laws of the game made in March 2020 and entered into force in June 2020, details on the clarification of the interpretation of the hand fault and the protocol for video assistance to the refereeing.
Indeed, after the opening of the works by the president of the executive committee of Fénifoot, Colonel-Major Pelé, the vice-president of the Central Referees Commission, Attama Boureima Ibrahim emphasized the challenge of this training.
The President of the Union of Sports Journalists of Niger, Mahamadou Djingarey a , in turn expressed his satisfaction for this great opportunity offered to them to immerse themselves in the various changes made in the laws of the game.
At the end of this training, the sports journalists expressed their gratitude to the Central Referees Commission and thanked the Nigerien Football Federation for this capacity building at the start of this new season.
