Beninese Wrestling Federation: Yves Azifan puts his money where his mouth is

In the dynamic of bringing new life to the discipline, the Beninese Wrestling Federation (Febelutte) in collaboration with the Union of Francophone Wrestling Federations (Uffl) and the World Union of Struggle (Uww) organizes a series of training 17 at 29 May 2021 for the benefit of level coaches 2 and level referee 4 and 5. The act 1 of these training courses marking the new era of Febelutte has been held since Monday 17 May at the Palais des Congrès of the General Mathieu Kérékou stadium and will end on 22 next may. Led by two experts from the World Union for Struggle, Vincent A. Aka and Christian L. Danga, this course according to the president of the Beninese Wrestling Federation, Yves Azifan aims not only to initiate an Olympic wrestling preparation camp for the benefit of Beninese wrestlers but also to put practitioners in the bath. "In order to begin to calmly consider the next African Olympic wrestling championship in Morocco and the 9th Games of La Francophonie in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo", he said while specifying "Our major concern is to have seasoned coaches and well-trained athletes, history of marking our presence by winning medals in continental and world competitions. This is our dream and we will do everything to make it a reality ".

After congratulating the executive committee of Febelutte for its forward-looking vision, Vincent Aka, expert from the World Wrestling Union invited the participants to seize this opportunity for the happiness of the Beninese wrestling. "Seize this opportunity dear interns to reveal the Beninese struggle", he advised. Also the representatives of the Beninese National Olympic and Sports Committee (Cnos-Ben) and the Ministry of Sports, Fernando Hessou and Okry Nonvignon respectively, they urged the trainees to follow the different modules with great attention and rigor.
