The Confederation of African Football has finally decided.
Indeed, Benin filed an appeal against the number 11 Rwandan Kevin Muhire who received a yellow card in the first leg, in the 68th minute. This same player highlighted Benin coach Gernot Rohr during the end-of-match press conference in Kigali (1-1) “a reçu contre le Sénégal (on the 2nd day, editor's note) a yellow card, à la 74e minute”. He indicated that the Beninese Football Federation filed an appeal.
The decision of the continental body smiles on Benin which pockets the three points of the meeting.
