Can Ivory Coast qualifiers 2023: Benin now has four points

The Confederation of African Football has finally decided.

Indeed, Benin filed an appeal against the number 11 Rwandan Kevin Muhire who received a yellow card in the first leg, in the 68th minute. This same player highlighted Benin coach Gernot Rohr during the end-of-match press conference in Kigali (1-1) “received against Senegal (on the 2nd day, editor's note) a yellow card, in the 74th minute”. He indicated that the Beninese Football Federation filed an appeal.

The decision of the continental body smiles on Benin which pockets the three points of the meeting.
