2023 Côte d'Ivoire/Benin Senegal CAN qualifiers : Gernot Rohr convoque 25 Cheetahs

As part of the match against Senegal counting for the 5th and penultimate day of the CAN qualifiers, Ivory Coast 2023, the coach of Benin has published the list of players summoned. They will be 25 to participate in this very important meeting for the Cheetahs of Benin.

Gernot Rohr placed his trust in the regulars of the Benin national team including Stéphane Sessegnon, Khaled Adénon, Yodel Dossou, Saturnin Allagbé, Olivier Verdon.

The first call-up of four new players: Brandon Audey Agounon, Andreas Hountondji, Prince Ricardo Dossou and Halid Djankpata.

On the other hand, David Kiki and Melvyn Doremus will not be in the game due to injury. Sessi d'Almeida and Jordan Adéoti were also not called up due to the coach's personal choice

We note the return of Marcellin Koukpo and Rodrigue Kossi.

The Franco-German technician also called on local players who had already been called up during the previous two days. This is Serge Obassa, Rachid Moumini, Rabiou Sakamao and Hassane Imourane.

The objective according to coach Gernot Rohr is to do everything possible to achieve success against the Lions of Téranga to maintain the dynamic before the last day which will be played against Mozambique.
