Laurent Gbagbo and Guillaume Soro are now forced to forget their dream of conquering the Ivorian presidential chair after the October presidential elections 2020. And for good reason, the candidacies of the former Ivorian head of state and his former prime minister were ruled inadmissible by the Constitutional Council, this Monday 14 September 2020.
However, les candidatures de l’actuel président en exercice, candidate for his own succession, Alassane Ouattara, de l’ex président, Henri Konan Bédié, du député Kouadio Konan Bertin et de l’ancien premier ministre sous la présidence de Gbagbo, Pascal Affi Nguessan ont été acceptées.

A noter que sur les 44 candidatures, seules quatre ont été jugées recevables par le Conseil constitutionnel ivoirien.
