Doctor Patrice Motsepe, President of the South African club Mamelodie Sundowns is candidate for the presidency of the African Football Confederation (CAF) for the elections within the umbrella body of African football which will take place on 12 mars 2021 in Morocco. In 10 points, called "CAF ten points actions", he sets out his program of action which aims to "make African football better across the world".
These 10 points that make him, the best candidate for the presidency of CAF, addressed strengthening relationships between partners, CAF and member associations ; the professionalization of the administration of the institution ; better governance ; the construction of sports infrastructure throughout Africa ; promoting youth and women's football ; protecting the integrity of arbitrators ; the introduction of VAR in all major competitions ; carry out reforms to improve the management of CAF and its affiliated associations ; develop a better relationship with FIFA and other confederations.

Here is the outline of its action program :
Point 1 : Make it a priority, the development and growth of football in each country with its business partners ;
Point 2 : Make the administration and all CAF competitions more professional and efficient ;
Point 3 : Better governance, identical to that of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and more ethics for the respect of African football ;
Point 4 : Build at least one national stadium to international standards and at least 200 football fields across Africa ;
Point 5 : Invest in the promotion of football for young people and girls and in that of school football in large numbers ;
Point 6 : Raise Women's football to the same level as that of the major football nations ;
Point 7 : Protect the integrity of arbitrators, for a much more professional and above all impartial service ;
Point 8 : establish the presence of Video Assistance Refere (WHERE) to all major regional and international competitions ;
Point 9 : Between 3 and 6 month, carry out reforms to improve the management of the African Football Confederation and member associations ;
Point 10 : Develop a better relationship with FIFA and other Confederations for the benefit of CAF and member associations.
