The political language has never changed in ages. He remained as, intact. As the other says, electoral promises only bind those who believe in them. The Beninese populations sadly experience the versatility of political discourse, in its variety and in its inconstancy.
Every election season, the same ritual. The formula which consists of adopting various discourses to pretend to play on the sensitivity of populations and make them adhere to political concepts and ideologies is no longer a better recipe.. And yet, in the field, the observation is there. Political actors, in their quest for the electorate, constantly changing their speech. The situation is even more critical, when a political transition takes place at the head of the country. Favorable opportunity to renounce the past.
We totally forget that at a certain time, we made indecent or even malicious comments to defend a regime in place. On the same subject, we develop a completely contrary opinion and the antipode of the political language used in the past to support or denounce certain facts. The phenomenon seems to have gone unnoticed, but curious thing, the entire political arena functions on this principle which must be denounced and fought with the utmost rigor. These sudden changes of coat and self-denial, which characterize the Beninese political class, visibly losing his bearings.
Why are Beninese politicians changing their tune? ? What can justify these behaviors which consist of making speeches of this type in an attempt to deceive the vigilance of the population?. What is good today, it’s because they understood the pattern. They have the information and are no longer distracted by these politicians who adopt double standards and who, behind their little heads, often think that the Beninese lose their memory with each change of president. Absolutely false. On the contrary, the people know a lot of things and are already accustomed to these paltry methods. Politicians must start by reviewing the copy and offering something new to their electorate.
