The second phase of the ceremony dedicated to the enthronement of Dèwènondé Gbèhanzin, new king of Abomey ended on Monday 18 Last July in the city of the Houégbadjavi. All this to the sounds of folk rhythms.

Entrust his reign to his ancestors and predecessors to establish a direct link with them for the success of his mission. This is the purpose of this second phase of the ceremony dedicated to the installation of His Majesty Dada Dèwènondé Gbèhanzin. For four days, in particular from 14 at 18 July 2022, the successor of Dada Kêfà Glèlè received the anointing of the elders. Several rites were organized. The next day 15 July, it was the continuation of the libations at the Kpatinssa and Atakinbaya Palaces. This in homage to the Houégbadja kings, founder of the kingdom of Danxômè, Tegbessou and Agonglo. The 17 July it was the turn of the Palace of Hounli where libation ceremonies were organized in tribute to King Guézo.

The apotheosis, it's the 18 last July.
