On July 1, 2020, one of the baobabs of Beninese traditional music turns its back on the stage. He has name, Wémèton's message, Adrien Hounkpatin in the civil status. He was buried on 10 October 2020 at his home in Atankpè, a village in the district of Hounviguè in the municipality of Bonou.
