Started Tuesday 15 mars, the Volleyball Champion Clubs' Cup ended on Saturday 19 mars 2022 in the capital of the land of upright men.  Two Beninese formations were able to find themselves in the square of As. This is Vbc Finance Men Level Training (bronze medalist) and Queens women's volleyball (who finished in fourth place).

Of the five Beninese representatives (Queens Vbc et Allada Vbc chez les dames puis, of Finances Vbc, Allada Vbc and Energie Vbc for men), two were able to savor the delights of the semi-finals. Indeed, the ladies of Queens volleyball after having bowed down in the semi-finals by their counterparts from As Douanes had started the third place meeting very well by largely dominating the Ivorian team of Club Olympique Descartes in the first set (25-13). But afterwards, they totally lowered their flag, giving CO Descartes the opportunity to set the record straight during the second set (20-25). The last two sets were even more catastrophic for the Beninese. They no longer regained their feeling and determination, leaving the bronze medal to the Ivorian team of CO Descartes who won after four sets. (25-13 ; 20-25 ; 14-25 ; 19-25). Queens volleyball of Benin dodges the podium and will settle for fourth place. A first experience for the protégés of President Aimé Sebio who have, however gained in experience but will have to quickly get back to work.

Finances Vbc saves the honor …

The men of Finances Vbc from Benin made a good impression at the Zone Volleyball Champions Cup 3. The title team of Benin, at the risk of not returning empty-handed, therefore won the bronze medal by beating SAO of the Ivory Coast by 3 sets to 0 (27-25 ; 25-17 ; 25-14). Eliminated by l’As Douanes du Burkina Faso in demi-finale, the Beninese offer themselves their first medal in the competition.

It should be noted that the Ghana Police and As Customs teams (BF) were crowned as ladies and men respectively.
