African Cup Winners Cup Merger (created in 1975) and the CAF Cup (introduced in 1992), the African Football Confederation Cup called CAF Cup was created in 2004 and is contested by the winning clubs of the national cups in the member countries of CAF. Annual competition and in the format of the Europa League, the winner competes in the CAF Supercup.

On the other hand, by nation, Tunisia is leading the debates, followed by Morocco and DR Congo.
