Construction of a commercial center at the Amitié GMK stadium: Ultimatum given to occupants

As part of the implementation of the Government Action Program, the Stade de l’Amitié Général Mathieu Kérékou has been selected to house the project to build a commercial center, the work of which is scheduled to start no later than April 1 2022. The deadline for 31 mars 2022 is granted to any occupant of the area to free it. This is through a note dated Tuesday 18 January 2022 that the Director General of the Benin Stadium Management Office (OGSB), Fiacre Aristide Codjogan brought the information to the knowledge of the occupants.

It is a decision that serves as both a notice and an ultimatum. The 31 mars 2022, is the strict deadline given to the occupants to vacate the premises. Pending the start of construction work on a commercial center, expected by April 1. The decision to release the belt shops has been made public, the 18 January 2022, by the Director General of the Benin Stadium Management Office (OGSB).
“The extent of the works being understood as the space occupied by the strapping shops, we hereby bring to your attention that the said shops will be demolished. Notwithstanding the absence of a notice provision in your respective contracts, Benin Stadium Management Office (OGSB) in a dynamic of courtesy and in order to allow you to make all the necessary arrangements, hereby comes to notify you that the last deadline for full release of the site is set at 31 mars 2022. In any case, after this time, the OGSB will proceed by its own means to the release of the premises in order to respect this non-negotiable deadline., can we read in the note.
The Director General of the Stadium Management Office, Fiacre Aristide Codjogan relies on everyone's collaboration and patriotic sense for the success of operations. “The General Management counts on your understanding and your usual collaboration in order not to disturb the smooth running of the Government Action Program”.
