As announced and in line with its program of activities for the year 2021, the executive committee of the Beninese Triathlon Federation is organizing this Friday 10 December 2021 in the seaside area of ​​​​the beach of the El Dorado hotel in Akpakpa in the Littoral department the final phase of the national championships. An event that will certainly spread.

They will be more than twenty athletes from all the departments of Benin to compete with ardor to climb on the highest step of the podium.. Several events will be on the menu for this final phase in both the boys and girls categories. This is Duathlon U18, Duathlon +18 et Triathlon U18. At the level of the U18 triathlon event, the athletes will run 300 swimming, 10km of cycling and 2.5 km of running. As for candidates for the triathlon standard, they will browse 1,5 km of land, 40km of bike race and 10 km of running.

"Logistically the conditions of El Dorado beach met our requirements", said Gabe Manner, privileged partner of the Beninese Triathlon Federation which was in Cotonou last September with its arms full of two competition bikes and important accessories for the best triathletes coming out of the departmental competitions organized by the Beninese body but also to bring its expertise for the promotion and the development of this discipline. For Richard Assah, President of the Benin Triathlon Federation, everything is ready for the competition to run smoothly. "We have put the small dishes in the big ones to meet this year's bet", he confided, adding "It's an edition of experimentation. We hope to have plenty of partners in the years to come.”.
