National Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship : Editing 2023 looks exciting

The party room ”Majestic ” of Cotonou hosts this Saturday 07 October the second edition of the national bodybuilding and fitness championship. A competition that promises to be thrilling with athletes already ready to offer a great show to lovers of this sporting discipline.

As was the case in previous editions, the Beninese Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness does not think of skimping on the means to do publishing 2023 of the national championship of this sport a success. The public who will come to the village hall ”Majestic ” of Cotonou this Saturday will therefore harbor no regrets. Around fifty athletes, both men and women, are expected at this Bodybuilding and fitness event.. Among these are big names who are already the pride of this sporting discipline at the national level.. These include Prudence Dossa and Jocelyne Adjohou, all reigning champions of Benin in their respective categories..

These two bodybuilders will put their crowns on the line during the competition. Apart from national athletes, Beninese bodybuilder Wora Mourchid Salami who plays in France will also be there. To do this, he has been staying in Cotonou since last week.

“What we want to offer to the people of Benin on Saturday will be special. We have our Guest star who will perform the poses. You will love. The only thing to do is get your ticket to experience hot bodybuilding” declares President Bienvenu Vodounou.

Radegonde Adounkpè, representative of women within the Executive Committee of the Beninese Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness also agreed : ” We're not going to talk much. The only one we want to say, it is that the Beninese men and women especially, come see the female bodybuilders. The bodybuilding championship, it’s a glamorous and colorful event, in image and sound. So, parents must also come with their children to discover what we are going to present. What is certain, they will like”.

The objective of this edition 2023

The organization of this edition championship 2023 will determine the best of the season who will represent Benin in the qualifiers of the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, Mr. Universe, planned for 19 at 22 October 2023 in Lagos, Nigeria. Participants in this championship will compete in 7 poses to know : The front double biceps , the backs from the front, triceps pose, Double Biceps from the back , Back lats and thigh abs.
New this year is that the competition also takes into account bodybuilder chicks.. In this category there will be around ten children practicing Bodybuilding and fitness who will brighten up the public with their performances..
Athletes who are on the podium will also be rewarded. Moto, trophies, medals, gadgets, will be offered. Unlike the two previous editions, they could benefit from a financial package at the end of the competition.

The extra touch

An arm wrestling competition is also planned.. A professional table ordered from France is already in Benin for a mini-tournament at the end of which many prizes will be offered to the best.
