CAN Handball Dames 2024 : Only beautiful !

The Democratic Republic of Congo succeeds almost flawlessly in the organization of the African Women's Handball Championship. And on the grounds, emotions and very beautiful atmospheres were there. Proof that the executive committee of the African Handball Confederation led by Doctor Arèmou Mansourou made a judicious choice. And it is not for nothing that certain Congolese authorities were honored by the continental body.

The curtains fell, the lanterns have gone out, on Sunday 11 February, with the coronation of Angola against Senegal. This 16th star is new proof of Angolan hegemony, built on a clever mix of raw talent, of impeccable strategy and a mind of steel. Senegal, valiant and promising, could only bow to the collective power of the champions. Through this coronation, Angola reaffirms its position as the undisputed leader of African handball, offering a new page of glory to its legendary heritage.

Nothing but beauty throughout the competition

President Félix Antoine Tshisekedi who took the gamble of showing that his country is capable of organizing major events, respecting the best international standards. A way to show the world that the DRC is a great nation. The local population is indeed very welcoming. Unanimously, the numerous delegations recognized that the DR Congo has set the bar very high, high enough for teams to feel at home. The atmosphere in the city and during the meetings was great.

CAHB Satisfaction

To express joy and satisfaction, the African Handball Confederation honored personalities such as the Minister of Sports of the DRC. M. Didier Budimbu Ntubuanga, the President of the Congolese Handball Federation, M. Amos Mbayo and the PRC IHF, M. Per Morten Sodal. Proof that the DR Congo has met the challenge of good organization.
