The 14th edition of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) women kicked off this Saturday with the opening match between Morocco, host country and Burkina Faso. Here are the results of the first four matches of the first day of competition.

12 nations participate in this 14th edition of the women's CAN unlike the eight previous editions.

Major issue of this Can, All four semi-finalists qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.

The two winners of the ranking matches of 17 July will play repechage tournaments for the World Cup organized in February 2023 in Australia and New Zealand.
