After proving his worth at UNB-FC and USSK, Batori douyèmé, gardien international béninois âgé de 23 ans pour 1,88cm s’est engagé depuis peu avec Esae FC ( Lotto Butt). Undisputed holder since his arrival, the young goalkeeper, born in Porto-Novo and promised a bright future confides in us a few hours before the start of the Super League Pro.
You have been evolving for a few months with Esae FC ( Lotto Butt). How did you get there ?
I arrived at Loto Popo on call from their recruitment unit. I think my profile interested the general manager of the LNB who is at the same time president of the club. I will also add that the goalkeeper coach, Jerry THAT'S WHY, wanted a rare pearl, one experienced to achieve the goals of the club. So I was preferred to others.
What motivated my choice much more, it is simply the club's project. It's a club that dreams big and does things big. We could not refuse to board.
With your club, you managed to qualify for the next round. What's the secret ?
We are a young team, we are a family and everything is going well. It is of course this conviviality that has made our strength.
The Pro Super League starts this Wednesday. Are- you ready ?
Oh yes. I'm ready to start the pro super league. I have for challenges, to do a lot of clean sheet, perform well during all matches. I want to help my team to be champion of Benin and I know that I will because, with a valiant heart, nothing impossible.
A few days after signing at Esae FC ( Lotto Butt), we learned that a big African club wanted to enlist you in its ranks. What is concretely in relation to this file ?
That's right. After signing with Loto Popo, I was contacted by the technical staff of one of the big African clubs. It is more precisely the Stade Malien in Bamako which said it needed a profile like mine. With my agent, the talks that have started , have not been so successful anymore. I still remain calm and confident in the future. Everything comes at the right time to those who know how to wait.
What are your medium and long term goals ?
Like any ambitious player, My goals are to reach the top level in order to play later in the big clubs of the world and to succeed in defending the national colors.
I hope to find a base very quickly at the end of the season and this, outside the national territory. I believe in it.
How do you feel within hours of the Pro Super League game against a big client, Dragons FC?
Dragons FC is Benin's biggest team, so it's gonna be a great game, a derby to be honest. I'm ready and I know my teammates are too. I stay calm, I think and I am sure that everything will be fine for this match.
What will be your final word?
As a final word, I thank everyone who has supported me through thick and thin since I embraced this football career. I appreciate it. To finish, I wish myself good luck for the pro super league. thank you so much.
