National Assembly of Benin : andre dossa, new DSICom installed

Newly appointed Director of Information and Communication Services (DSICom) of the National Assembly of Benin by President Louis Vlavonou, André Dossa officially took on Friday 03 March at the headquarters of the institution in Porto-Novo. This, thanks to a very simple but solemn ceremony marked by the presence of the other Directors, chefs services, chefs sections, parliamentary executives and DSICom staff.

Appointed by decision No. 2023-026/AN/PT of 24 February 2023 by the former and new president of the National Assembly of Benin, Louis Gbèhounou Vlavonou to take care of the Directorate of Information and Communication Services (DSICom) of the parliamentary institution, André Dossa was officially installed in his new position. Previously Editor-in-Chief of Canal Television 3 Benign, he replaced the outgoing Director, Firmin Gangbè who, during the ceremony expressed his wish to see the challenge met. “Your roadmap is clear. You can set yourself personal objectives in line with your specifications at your leisure., objectives that will allow you to obtain more results based on regular evaluations”, he addressed the incoming, Firmin Gangbe. He thanked President Louis Vlavonou for the trust placed in him to lead this great direction..

He says he is counting on the combined efforts of the entire chain to succeed in the challenge.. “The Directorate of Information and Communication Services is a central directorate of the National Assembly. It is through the action of its services and its leaders that the populations can receive the energies flowing from this temple of democracy that is the National Assembly”, affirms André Dossa before making the commitment to serve validly and with persistence to deserve the trust placed in him by President Louis Vlavonou. “I am committed to working alongside you with self-sacrifice, loyalty and professionalism on the one hand, accomplish these missions and on the other hand, offer this management new perspectives”, he hammered.

In place of President Louis Vlavonou, it’s his Chief of Staff, M. Mathieu Ahouansou who chaired the ceremony. After thanking the outgoing Director Firmin Gangbè for his excellent career at the head of this department for several years, he welcomed the new appointed Director, André Dossa while ensuring that he will succeed in the mission entrusted to him by President Louis Vlavonou. “It’s a great day for you because you are taking a sensitive direction. You are here to show what you do best. You have an asset : the staff, another asset, this is the environment of parliament”, said Mathieu Ahouansou, Director of Cabinet of the President of the National Assembly to officially send the new DISCom to his mission.
