Academic year 2020-2021 at the Uac:The known university calendar

After the school calendar of nursery lessons, primary, secondary and vocational training published in the middle of the past week, it is the turn of the university calendar to be known by the students as well as the new graduates. The academic year 2020-2021 therefore starts on Monday 28 September 2020 and will end on Friday 9 July 2021.

This decision was made public by the Rector of the University of Abomey Calavi through the memorandum on the university calendar 2020-2021 at the University of Abomey Calavi dated 17 September 2020. The note specifies that the solemn return to school at Uac will be held on Wednesday 28 October 2020 while registrations will be open on Monday 2 November 2020 and will end on Friday 26 February 2021. Likewise, the academic year 2020-2021 is subdivided into two semesters. Monday period 28 September 2020 see you on Friday 12 February 2021 covers the first semester while the second semester starts on Monday 22 February 2021 and will end on Friday 9 July 2021. The rector's note stressed that the courses will take place from Monday to Saturday and that the Uac will take care of the dates and periods of public holidays or celebrations.. Among others, Mouloud's feast (29 October 2020), feast of all saints (1is November 2020), Christmas vacation (of 25 December 2020 at 3 January 2021), the feast of traditional religions (10 January 2021), inter-semester holidays (of 15 at 19 February 2021) on behalf of the first semester. Then, Easter holidays (29 mars 2021 at 5 avril 2021), Ascension et Ramadan (13 May 2021), Whit Monday (24 May 2021), with regard to the second semester. The note recalled that the vice-rector in charge of academic affairs and the heads of the training and research units (Ufr) are loaded, each as far as he is concerned, of the application of this memorandum which takes effect from the date of signature.
