André Landeut, coach of Adjidja Football club: “The real problem is that I am a resigned coach…”

In a publication this Saturday, we promised you to come back to the supposed quarrel between the players of Adjidja Football club and their coach, André Landeut. The person concerned spoke out when he came to follow the ASPAC match – Loto-Popo counting for the first day of Super Ligue Pro, this 10 February 2024, at the Toffo Omnisports stadium, an enclosure which houses the matches of the Beninese Armed Forces club.

“I have never been chased by players” confided the Belgian-Congolese technician while adding “Nothing happened at all. I came to training this morning and I found the players like every morning. And I have never been chased by the players. It's a lie. This is defamation. Nothing happened with the players. Everything is going very well with the players. Is it in a professional club that respects itself, it is the players who have the power to recruit a coach or dismiss a coach? I do not think so. So the players are there and we are on good terms”

I came to see, he explains, ” the Aspac match against Loto and all the players were with me. We met and I sat with them and I see where there is a problem with the players. The real problem is not with the players, the real problem is that I am a resigned coach from Adjidja Football Club and I am waiting for this resignation to be effective. In the meantime, I organize training and conduct day-to-day affairs until the day there is a memorandum of understanding” said André Landeut.
