Youth Entrepreneurship Development Agency : The Board of Directors installed

Members of the Board of Directors of the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Agency (Adej) have been officially installed, Thursday 11 February 2021 under the supervision of the Minister in charge of SMEs and the Promotion of Modest Employment Tihounté Kerekou. A ceremony that marks the start of a new era for the benefit of young people.

In his message, the Minister in charge of SMEs, Modeste Kérékou congratulated the seven members of the Board of Directors before reminding them of their missions and responsibilities. He invited them to accompany the General Directorate of Adj in making a new start, to operationalize very quickly the powers of the Agency for the benefit of its target.

The Board of Directors, which has a mandate to 3 ans is chaired by Edouard Sehlin. On behalf of his peers, he has made a commitment to fully play their role in achieving the objectives. He did not fail to thank the Beninese government for the confidence placed in them..

The Youth Entrepreneurship Development Agency (Adej) is a public social establishment whose mission is to contribute to the promotion of growth entrepreneurship through the creation of incubators of small and medium-sized enterprises capable of creating value and offering sustainable employment opportunities. It was born from the transformation and restructuring of the former National Fund for the Promotion of Business and Youth Employment (Fnpeej). She has, at his head, Director Paulin Akponna who worked to reorganize the agency after careful audits. To this must be added the appropriate reforms in order to bring the structure of enterprising youth as closely as possible.. It, which needs support to contribute efficiently to Benin's economic growth while creating jobs to reduce unemployment.
