In the absence of a designated dolphin, supporters of the head of state who have presidential ambitions have already begun to test their footing on the ground. The objective is to sit on the chair of the boss at the end of the ballot of 2026. However, they prefer to navigate in troubled waters, for fear of angering the leader or making themselves vulnerable by positioning themselves too early. The trick found for this is to go through activists claiming that the population demands such and such a personality at the head of the state..

We believed Olivier Boko in this dynamic but many questions remain unanswered. What is certain for now,  publicly it is not yet declared. Very discreet and faithful in friendship, this businessman has always evolved in the shadow of Patrice Talon even before he was president. For his "admirers", the end of President Talon's second term should therefore be an opportunity to finally come out of the shadows in order to secure his back and continue the actions of his friend as Head of State.

Like Olivier Boko, he found people to encourage the candidacy of another manager, in this case the Minister of Finance. Him too, a close friend of President Talon, he declined the offer and remarked that it is indecent at this stage to talk about the elections of 2026.

Names that circulate, only Joseph Djogbénou has not yet decided on his probable candidacy for the succession of the President of the Republic. After having been deputy, Minister, President of the Constitutional Court, elected deputy, he finally chose to devote himself to the management of the largest political party won over to the cause of power. Will he use this springboard to build himself a presidential stature or on the contrary will he disavow those who want to run for him? ?
