A G Ordinary of the Benin Taekwondo Federation : Assessment and outlook on the discussion menu

By videoconference, the Beninese Taekwondo Federation (Fbtae) held saturday 29 May 2021 its ordinary general meeting. On the menu of exchanges, review of activities carried out during the year 2020 disrupted by Covid-19. Outlook for the new season 2021 and the major activities on the program were also combed through.

During this sitting, the different reports, among others, business morale and finance were presented to the delegates who validated them. However, gray areas have found solutions thanks to the explanations of the members of the Executive Committee of the Benin Taekwondo Federation. At the end of the discussions, the adoption of the technical procedure manual then the strategic plan 2021-2024 of the Fbtae and the presentation of the calendar 2021 were the other highlights. "The technical and administrative procedure manual in experimentation since 2019. It was developed in the aftermath of the Beninese Taekwondo General States. The time has come to submit it for adoption by the General Assembly. There have been observations, amendments concerning certain shortcomings and shortcomings. All this corrected allowed us to amend the document to the satisfaction of all the assistance ", confided the vice-president of the Beninese Taekwondo Federation, Cassien Djigla.

He took the opportunity to unveil the key activities of the season 2020-2021. "During this year 2021, we plan to focus on the training of executives. (…) He will have the national championship which will start with the regional phase, departmental for the whole month of June and July then the final phase in August probably in Cotonou or Porto-Novo. There will be the different exams for passing grade at the intermediate level, in particular the international passage of black belt rank. It will be done in November 2021. If the means allow it, we will participate in inter regional and international competitions ”, he indicated.

 otherwise, it was announced to the Assembly that President Jules Victorien Kougblénou has been honored with the rank of officer of the national order of Benin. "This distinction is a source of pride for the Beninese teakwondo family even if it is not only in the field of taekwondo since he is the Director General of Andf", he rejoices in the name of the whole Beninese taekwondo family.
