98th anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey: Ambassador Onur Ozçeri at heart with his compatriots

Turkish Ambassador to Benin, Onur Ozçeri hosted a reception at his residence, Friday 19 October 2021. This, within the framework of the 28th anniversary of the Proclamation of the Republic of Turkey. On this occasion, Turkish Ambassador Onur Ozçeri delivered the speech of the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

In the speech, the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan praised his citizens, who live at home and abroad and all his friends who share with Turkey, this proud day, constituting one of the golden rings of their glorious history. “On the occasion of the 98th anniversary of its proclamation, I commemorate with respect the founder of our Republic, Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his heroic comrades in arms. I implore Allah's mercy for our martyrs who entrusted this country to us at the cost of their lives. In my name, in the name of my country and my nation, I express my gratitude to our veterans who have had the honor of becoming a veteran by fighting for the same blessed cause, I would like to express my thanks to all our deputies who have served our country, in The Grand National Assembly of Turkey as distinguished representatives of the national will, and having paid the price when it was necessary, from the first Assembly until today”, says the Turkish president, who implores Allah to grant success to the security forces, who serve wholeheartedly throughout and within the borders for the perpetuity of Turkey and for the serenity, security, and the welfare of the nation. He did not fail to congratulate the businessmen, non-governmental organizations and civil servants who proudly fly the glorious flag around the world. “With the strength we draw from our deep-rooted history and ancient values, united with 84 millions of people, we continue our efforts to enlarge Turkey and direct it towards its objectives”, he adds in his speech before concluding that “as a nation, we will fight for the realization of the cause of a great and strong Turkey, clinging to our unity, our union and our fraternity, which are our greatest guarantee. In this blessed fight that we fight, the iron will that carried the national struggle to victory and gave life to our Republic that will continue to be our guide today, as she was during the 98 last years."
