94th ABWA meeting in Benin: Yawo Félix Djidotor represents Togo and UEMOA

The Federation of Orders of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountants of ECOWAS ”ABWA” held its 94th meeting this Monday, June 20. Get Felix Djidotor, with his double hat, President of the Order of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountants of Togo and also President of the permanent council of the accounting profession of UEMOA participated in this statutory meeting.

For the representative of Togo and UEMOA, it was necessary to organize the profession regionally “and this is what ABWA embodies”, said Yawo Félix Djidotor. He took the opportunity to outline the challenges that await the different delegations during this extremely important meeting. “I am here to carry the voice of West Africa and share with you the support that ABWA can provide to our professional organizations in West Africa which are members of ECOWAS”, he indicated while adding “My vision is to allow our organizations to be able to contribute alongside those in power in the context of improving management and in the context of the contribution to our economies so that accounting experts can work with the public sector in order to boost development ».

In his opening speech, the Minister of Economy and Finance of Benin greeted the delegation from each country, before delivering the quintessence of his message which left no participant indifferent. To believe, Romuald Wadagni, the profession of accountant, of auditor and management consultancy are very similar to that of a multi-specialist doctor. “The accountant is in fact a multidisciplinary doctor for entities of all kinds, he was present at the birth of the company, during the growth share, as in the relaunch or recovery of the company”, he hinted. He adds that “the accountant, is not only a professional of G, but also an audit practitioner, of the law of public and private finance management without forgetting human resources management”. To conclude, the Beninese financier reassures all stakeholders by confiding in them that it is on the strength of their very important role that several heads of state do not hesitate to entrust accounting experts with the management of important ministerial portfolios..
