1er Gala international de boxe arabe : Richard ELLA BÉKALÉ announces the participation of Africa

Of 21 April to May 1st 2021, the russian capital (Moscow) will be the crossroads of boxing. This is thanks to the editing 2021 of the international arab boxing gala called “GRAND PRIX OF RUSSIA”. A competition in which several African countries are expected according to Éric Richard Ella BÉKALÉ, the current president of the African Arab Boxing Federation (FABA).

For this first major world meeting of noble art, the black continent will be well represented, recently declared the former president of the Gabonese kickboxing federation and current boss of the African Arab Boxing Federation. (FABA). "Our continent, which now has more than thirty federations in this sporting discipline, has a say in this competition despite the current health context which does not make things any easier. But already knowing the date of the competition, we will do everything possible to allow our fighters to be up to speed. I am optimistic ”suggested Éric Richard Ella BÉKALÉ. On fifty or so nations approached, thirty-eight have already agreed to take part in the event. In accordance with the rules of the competition, each willing country presents two pugilists at the rate of a man and a woman. For this first edition of the tournament, attention will be focused on the African continent given its place in the world of professional Arab boxing.

Just like other sports competitions, the international boxing gala “Russian Grand Prix” is intended to be an opportunity for cultural mixing for the participating countries.
