The final phase of the 10th edition of the African Maracana Cup will start on Tuesday 26 September 2023 in Grand Popo, in the presence of the highest luminaries of the discipline including the world president, Commissioner Charlemagne Bleu. For this purpose, the draw for the pools was made this Sunday 24 September.
Among seniors, Benin inherits Pool A alongside Mali, from Cameroon, of Gabon and Guinea Bissau. In the group, the Ivory Coast, Guinea, and Togo, Senegal will battle it out while Pool C is made up of Burkina-Faso, Canada, the USA and Niger.
In the super seniors category, Pool A includes Benin, Canada, and Togo, Burkina Faso and France. Pool B includes Mali, the Ivory Coast, Guinea, Cameroon and Niger.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday 26 September but before, there will be a general assembly in the morning which will make way, from 14h, at the inaugural meetings.
